External Affairs serves as the news, marketing and media portal for the College of Information. The staff is committed to act as the touchstone for all past, current and prospective students, community leaders, and the information industry’s professional media and publications.
Focused on enhancing the connection between alumni, friends and students of the College, the coordinator and various members of the College of Information staff serve as ambassadors between the information education sector and the industry. For upcoming recruitment events and reunions refer to the College Events Calendar.
This office also integrates the Alumni Relations Officer’s responsibility and provides College members with a biannual publication entitled Call Number. The Call Number contains news from faculty and staff as well as alumni and students’ bits and bytes. Another way in which the External Affairs office strengthens bonds between the College and its constituents is through frequent news updates sent via email.
